THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY ACTUAL DEFECT IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP FOR THE SIREN™ PERSONAL ALARM SHALL BE EITHER THE REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT OR A REFUND OF THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT AT SMART SIREN TECHNOLOGY, INC.’S SOLE DISCRETION, PROVIDED THAT SUCH REQUEST FOR A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT OCCURS WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE FROM A SMART SIREN TECHNOLOGY, INC. AUTHORIZED RETAILER. This remedy is only valid if the SIREN™ personal alarm has not been tampered with, altered, modified or repaired by anyone other than the manufacturer. It is also invalidated if submerged in liquid, exposed to extreme temperatures for an extended period, or if the battery has been incorrectly charged such as with a charger not provided with the product. The battery is not covered by our standard warranty.
Our return policy period is thirty (30) days from the date of purchase from our authorized retail website. Unfortunately, we cannot issue any refunds or exchanges after this period.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your returned item has been received, SIREN will send an email notification to confirm receipt. Pending inspection, approval or rejection of a refund/replacement request will be confirmed via email.
If your refund has been approved for a refund, a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 2-3 weeks. Please allow adequate time for us to process your return or exchange, and note that once return credit has been transmitted to your banking institution or credit card company, it still may take up to two billing cycles before your refund is posted. Please confirm with your banking institution or card provider prior to contacting us about a late refund, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Replacement items will be shipped as soon as inventory is available, and you will be notified via email, along with shipping confirmation and an estimated arrival date.
If a SIREN purchase is marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to the gift recipient, the recipient will receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item. Once the returned item is received and processed, a gift certificate will issued and mailed to the recipient. Returned items received as a gift but not marked as such when purchased will be credited to the account or credit card of the initial purchaser.

At this time, original shipping costs are non-refundable, and all customers are responsible for return shipping. Once a return has been processed, please note the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on your shipping location in the continental U.S, replacement product arrival times may vary.
We strongly recommend returns are mailed through a trackable shipping service or include shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item, and are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
